This air filter replaces the stock air element. By simply replacing the filter, it maintains excellent filtration performance and stable inlet efficiency, and continues to demonstrate its effectiveness. The filter is made of cotton, so it is economical to use again and again by regular maintenance. Compatible with a wide range of Japanese and foreign vehicles.
■Filter Charge Effect The special structure of four layers of cotton gauze made by DuPont with excellent air permeability, sandwiched between ultra-fine aluminum mesh with low air resistance, It has the effect of increasing air flow by "rectifying" the air passing through the filter.This is an excellent intake characteristic called a filter charger.
■Filtration effect The accordion structure of the special filter with excellent air intake efficiency increases the area of contact with the filter of the air passing through, and prevents dust and dirt from entering. The special oil soaked in the cotton has excellent adsorbing power, and the dust and dirt adsorbed on the cotton will change into a new filter structure, keeping the air intake effect and dust prevention effect in a high dimensional balance.
■Excellent economic efficiency The filter is made of cotton material and is economical to use repeatedly by cleaning with a dedicated K & N cleaner. By using a special cleaner, it is very easy and quick to clean, and you can easily see how much dirt has been removed.
■Racing specification lineup The standard 4-ply cotton gauze filter is available in a 2-ply version to further improve air intake efficiency. (Setting may be required to achieve full performance.)

We wanted to try the new K&N filter for this bike over the OEM one becasue you also have the ability to wash, re-oil and re-use these filters. I have never found them to be anything less than the quality of the standard OEM filters and do not have any less performance. As I said, these are reusable if you do it all correctly. Finding the correct filter for the bike was easy too, I checked on Webike website and this showed the models that fit each filter. Super easy.I had other items in my order and this then cut down the shipping over the entire order. I use EMS fast service which arrived at my door in 5 days but there was a weekend inbetween. All the items were packaged really well and bubble wrap and air pockets were used to fill any space in the box. Webike even tape the outer box on all sides so nothing can get in out. The filter arrived in perfect condition and fitted as I mentioned above in about half an hour total and that was including cleaning the surfaces and prepping everything. The final result was great, all sorted and no leaks. If you do it right the first time, follow the instructions this won't happen anyway. K&N's air cleaner reduces the intake resistance, so you can feel the power up just by putting it on. Response responds very quickly and the engine starts to blow up very well. The low RPM Torque does not drop and it is easy to drive on the street. There are many similar air cleaners out there, but the performance is totally different, so I think you should choose K&N if you are going to buy an air cleaner. If you use the special CleanerKit, you can use it semi-permanently, so I think it is very cost-effective considering its performance.View Detail
I bought this for use on road. When used on forest roads, it clogs up quickly, but is not a problem on paved roads. Intake resistance is also reduced, which is good. It can be washed and used, so I think it is cosmetically superior in that respect.View Detail
