It minimizes the damage to the radiator caused by pebbles from the front tires and the clogging of the radiator fins caused by airborne dust.
A fine mesh pattern in the center where wind-up tends to concentrate is a reliable guard.
Both sides are coarsely patterned for ventilation.

High-precision hexagonal (tortoise shell) mesh pattern is adopted by etching process.
The Yoshimura logo is placed in the center of the beautiful mesh, which draws Yoshimura's original "Y line", in a simple and not too assertive design.

YOSHIMURA's original mesh pattern increases the opening area by about 8% at both sides and about 18% at the center compared to the general hexagonal mesh pattern.

■Quality
Made of stainless steel (SUS304) which is resistant to aging and rust.
The plate thickness is set at t=0.8mm to ensure durability despite its light weight.
Regular maintenance (cleaning) is recommended to keep them in good condition.

Hairline processing" is a process in which a thin line the size of a hair is inserted in a single direction.
This gives the surface a matte effect and at the same time a beautiful finish with a characteristic dull metallic luster.
■Black Oxide
Black Oxide is the same process as Silver up to the hairline polishing, but the oxide film on the stainless steel surface is thicker than usual.
The oxidized film controlled in 0.1 microns is beautifully colored by the interference phenomenon of light, and the metallic texture is not lost, and the color is almost gunmetal with luster.
Since this film is integrated with the material, it does not peel off and is superior to non-colored stainless steel in terms of corrosion and weather resistance.

Sublime Oil Protector for the CB1100 EX 2017
Perfect fit for the CB1100EX2017! It adds a flair of japanese aesthetics too! A bit hard to install to be honest, and to be fair; I am not that mechanically inclined towards motorcycles, but I did the installation all by myself by sacredly following the instructions and by putting a bit of elbow grease! An excellent product overall from Yoshimura! Cheers!

It is an essential protection device for oil coolers, and Yoshimura products seem to perfectly match the CB1100 in terms of design and appearance. It took about 30 minutes to install, and if it is fixed well, the size is well combined.

I have no problem at all with the quality of YOSHIMURABrand, which I can rely on. The instruction manual included in the package is very small, so it took me a while to realize that I had put the bracket on upside down at first. It takes about 10 minutes to do the job if you can grab the hang to hold the rubber at the bottom of the oil cooler.
