0.8mm thick stainless steel material is used for etching, which is impossible by machining.
Two sizes of hex pattern are applied after testing various shapes of mesh in race and street.
The center area, which is directly behind the front tire, is made finer to improve the protection of the core from flying debris.
Both sides of the tire, which are outside the track, are roughened to protect the core from insects and flying rocks while maintaining maximum cooling efficiency.
Each core is formed from one stainless steel plate, which provides both protection and design.
By installing the protector on the entire surface of the core, it becomes easier to wash off the dirt caused by flying objects and keep the vehicle clean.
