A fine mesh pattern in the center where wind-up tends to concentrate is a reliable guard.
Both sides are coarsely patterned for ventilation.

High-precision hexagonal (tortoise shell) mesh pattern is adopted by etching process.

Yoshimura's original mesh pattern increases the opening area by about 11% at both sides and 26% at the center compared to the general hexagonal mesh pattern.

Made of stainless steel (SUS304) which is resistant to aging and rust.
The plate thickness is set at t=0.8mm to ensure durability despite its light weight.
