Perfect fit for the CB1100EX2017! It adds a flair of japanese aesthetics too! A bit hard to install to be honest, and to be fair; I am not that mechanically inclined towards motorcycles, but I did the installation all by myself by sacredly following the instructions and by putting a bit of elbow grease! The casual Yoshimura logo is irresistible!
[How is it used?
I used to use KFACTORY as a core guard for oil cooler, but I changed the spec. because of my admiration for Yoshimura logo.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The Stainless Steel is 0.8mm thick, unlike the 0.5mm thickness of other companies.
YOSHIMURA's is a Mesh based on the letter Y, which is different from other companies' Patterns, and the fine workmanship of Stainless Steel is more wonderful than expected, and I think the finish is better than Image.
Was the installation difficult?
Hang is required, but after removing one of the M10Screws to which the Oil cooler is attached, the core is floated and then the lower part is inserted for installation. It takes about 10 minutes, but first-time users may have a bit of a hard time.
How was your experience with it?
The quintessence is YOSHIMURA. I thought it might be too assertive, but the dress-up was done in a casual way.
The mesh is coarse-grained, so there is a little concern when a small beetle is caught in the mesh while running, but so far there have been no problems.

[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Nothing in particular, but it would have been nice to be able to purchase Bracketetc. repair parts in case of emergency.
When installing the lower part of the bracket, it is recommended to spray CRC to make it easier to slide the bracket into place for a smooth fit.View Detail

I have no problem at all with the quality of YOSHIMURABrand, which I can rely on. The instruction manual included in the package is very small, so it took me a while to realize that I had put the bracket on upside down at first. It takes about 10 minutes to do the job if you can grab the hang to hold the rubber at the bottom of the oil cooler.View Detail
