I installed the Classic Bumper (CHIC DESIGN:CHIC DESIGN, product number:SR-BP3) as a DIY installation for my wife's ride and to give her a sense of security. Installation was carried out according to the instruction manual and completed in about 1 hour using Ratchet. The mounting bolt to the bracket on the lower side of the Bumper is a little long (25mm long) and interferes with the frame, so I changed it to an 8mm bolt that is about 20mm long. Also, the bottom side of the included engine bolt is not long enough to reach the teeth of the Nut, so I'm considering replacing it with a bolt about 210mm long. The normal bolt is about 198mm and Included Parts:is about 202mm. The normal bolt is 198mm and Included Parts:is 202mm.
After that, I contacted Webike and received a 205mm Bolt in 2 days. I also received a letter of apology from CHIC DESIGN.
I was worried about the bank angle, but when I check from behind, the Knee Slider seems to be grounded about 2~3cm ahead. I actually heard a scraping sound with the Corner, but only the Knee Slider was scratched and the Bumper was intact. You've thought of that.
